Just FYI that E and I will be without internet for perhaps the next week. We are headed out to Rubya Hospital for a few nites and then to Uganda for Easter Weekend!

Tuna Njaa in Kiswahili. Tuna = We have. Njaa = hunger. We titled our blog this way because we are hungry on so many levels! 1) We are hungry to experience Tanzania. 2) We are hungry because we don't eat much during the day! When we go on site visits, we only have time for breakfast and then dinner late at nite. So, we are hungries. We hope this blog will feed you some interesting stories. Enjoy! Also, if you read, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT so we know to say hi back!
Have fun! :)
ReplyDeleteDoh - now that I'm finally commenting on your great blog and you're sans internet. How will you survive without googling? jk
ReplyDeleteI just had coffee (well, tea) today with my friend Menan from Tanzania today. But he won't be back in Tanzenia until May. His Ph.D. research has something to do with traditional healers and conservation policy and landuse change --and how healers are able to cope with or are effected by changing environmental conditions and whether conservation policies are limiting their access to traditional medicines and such.
ReplyDeleteHe's from somewhere on Lake Victoria, but not sure where.
Happy travels.
